Our Founder & Chairman

"The founder and chairman of the foundation that bears his name believes that  technologies and global partnerships are needed to create a sustainable and healthy world.  Global warming is a very strong issue that must be seriously addressed and changes must be made before we further damage our fragile ecosystem. Our strengths are through the people having experience and proven ability to make change and manage multiple projects with measurable results. I am personally looking forward to the future, the changes and efforts we will have made together on our quest to heal the environment".

Curtis A Newman, Chairman and Managing Director

For more than eighteen years Mr. Newman has worked to address environmental challenges with innovative solutions. His focus is dedicated to finding an affordable replacement solution for the motor vehicles antiquated gross polluting internal combustion engine. His purpose is to develop and promote non-polluting electromotive and supporting technologies that contribute to achieve sustainable reduction of global greenhouse gases by reducing the dependence for all combustion type fuels used in ground transportation. The foundation delivers a means to explore the viability and potential commercialization of various ideas and inventions that offer increased electromotive energy efficiency and reduce or eliminate the need for additions to existing or new type of refueling support infrastructure.

The Curtis A Newman Foundation (The CAN Foundation) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit California Public Benefit Corporation. It was formed as a charitable scientific research and environmental education organization. The foundations key focus is to develop and promote the use of  non polluting sustainable energy motor vehicle technologies and other renewable energy resources to achieve overall reduction of global greenhouse gases.
